How do I register my child?

What are your fees?

Play Space Membership has 3 tiers: $120/month for unlimited visits, $95/month for up to 3 visits per week, and $75/month for 1 visit per week (automatic monthly billing process)

What are your hours?

Monday - Thursday 9am to 4pm, and Friday 9am to 1pm. To check if we’re closed, visit our calendar.
Families First follows the Public School calendar, when the schools are closed for holidays, we are also closed (with a few exceptions for DOE-only professional development days or election day).

Do you have summer programming?

Families First runs a Summer Program for 5-7 weeks. We are closed from mid-August until after Labor Day.

May I drop my child off?

Parents/Caregivers for children in the Play Space, drop-ins, as well as Playgroup, Levels 1 & 2 of Practically Preschool classes must remain in our facility at all times while their children are at Families First. Level 3 is a drop-off program.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes!  We have free Wi-Fi access.

Can my child join a class after the beginning of the trimester?

Yes, as long as the class is not full. Families First prorates the fee for students whose first day of class is beyond the scheduled start date

May I  get a refund if my child cannot make his/her scheduled class?

No.

Are make-up classes permitted?

Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate make-up classes due to our class structure and space limitations.

Do you offer parenting classes?

Our primary service is for children. We offer a variety of workshops for parents on numerous topics. An outside consultant facilitates these workshops. A minimum of 5 participants is needed for workshops to operate. Workshops are posted on the website and local list-serves.

Does Families First close for snow days?

We follow the Public School Schedule as it pertains to inclement weather. We will be closed if the public schools are closed.
